Last week, Kevin De Bruyne told the Belgian media that there’s no set date for him to return at Manchester City.

That’s not to say there’s been complications with his injury, the midfielder explained it’s the biggest fitness setback he’s ever had and there’s a willingness to make sure he recovers fully.

At the age of 32, he’ll know he can’t push his body too much, and talked about playing through the pain for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Hopefully, the Belgian can return before the end of the season and have an impact on Manchester City’s campaign. That certainly seems to be his intention as he’s batting away interest from Saudi Arabia for now.

Italian journalist Rudy Galetti has been pretty good on Saudi claims since the country started their big football recruitment drive.

He’s says there’s been a ‘first approach’ for De Bruyne, but his camp aren’t interested in negotiating right now. He wants to concentrate on Manchester City until at least the end of the season.

The Belgium international is ‘fully focused’ on his current club right now, where he has a contract lasting until June 2025.

Nevertheless, there’s expected to be a new attempt in the coming months to see how the player thinks then.
