It seems Brighton & Hove Albion may soon receive an offer for Valentin Barco.
While the fullback is still working on his adaptation to the Premier League, reports from Spain claim that Real Betis are keen on him.
There are two outlets reporting the interest in the Brighton player, ABC Sevilla and Mundo Deportivo.
They both claim that Betis are looking to strengthen the left-back position for next season, and among their options, there is Barco.
There is, however, no information on whether any talks have taken place yet, as it just seems the La Liga side have identified the 19-year-old as a potential target.
Brighton spent over €9m to get Barco signed from Boca Juniors in January. It took a while for him to make his Premier League debut, and in the two league matches he played for 90 minutes, the Seagulls were thrashed 4-0 by Manchester City and 3-0 by Bournemouth.
It remains to be seen whether the player’s tough start will result in a loan, or if Brighton will be patient enough to let him work on his adaptation for another season.
