Valencia or Napoli. These are the two clubs who are said to be fighting for West Ham’s Simone Zaza right now, and the player’s fate could already be decided in January.

According to Tutto Mercato Web, the Spanish side are in a hurry for a centre forward and see Zaza as a great possibility for the winter window.

The player, on the other hand, would be keen on the other option as well. The website claims that he’d like the Napoli possibility, as a return to his home country could be seen as something of a failure.

But in the end, the decision would be up to Juventus. And their choice, in this case, would be Valencia. That’s because loaning the player to a La Liga side would be better than Napoli, who are obviously their Serie A rivals.

All the speculation regarding Zaza is made with the consideration West Ham would not like to keep the player. With no goals after nine appearances, the striker is far from impressing in London and the club may well hold him back from playing so their buying option isn’t enforced.

Valencia are short on funds, but Napoli aren’t, which could be a deciding factor. Zaza should probably consider himself lucky to be wanted by either, given his season. Valencia may be struggling but are one of Spain’s grandest clubs, and Napoli are strong too, it really doesn’t seem fair.
