Despite Manchester City’s reported interest in the Brazilian youngster Vitor Eduardo, the English club still haven’t contacted the player’s entourage for a transfer.
This information was given to Sport Witness by the defender’s agent Tiago Silva.
When asked if there was any contact between City officials and the player, he said: “No, none. Vitor is 16. He can’t be transferred until he turns 18.”
The agent treats the possibility as something very distant. On the youngster’s potential, long term, chance to play under Pep Guardiola, Silva says: “Who doesn’t dream of playing in Europe? There’s still a long way to go.”
As claimed by ESPN this Friday, City would like to have the priority over Vitor Eduardo included in Gabriel Jesus’ deal. The English club is said to be in no hurry to bring the player to England, which is good because it’s against regulations.
A long term target who Manchester City seem keen to keep an eye on.
