Real Unión president Igor Emery has insisted they will explore all possibilities over a new relationship with other clubs, even if it is likely they do a deal with Aston Villa.

That’s according to El Diario Vasco, who say ‘everything seems to indicate’ they will do a deal with Aston Villa at some point either way.

Unión ended an agreement with Real Sociedad earlier this week as they look to explore other possibilities to make the club grow.

There have been increasing reports that they are set to sign a partnership agreement with Aston Villa, where co-owner Unai Emery is currently in charge.

El Diario Vasco confirm that is likely to be the case, stating ‘everything seems to indicate’ a deal with the Villans being done now that the agreement with Real Sociedad has come to an end.

However, the Spanish club are in ‘full evolution’ according to them and that means that those in charge are looking at numerous options to help them grow, meaning Aston Villa are not the only side on their radar.

This is something confirmed by Emery, who has insisted they will adapt and do a deal with whatever club is best for them.

“If to get the most out of the agreement with another club we have to speak English, we will speak English; If we have to learn French, we learn French and if it involves an Asian language, we will do it too,” he is quoted as saying.

This is backed up by sporting director Mikel Bengoa, who added: “We have to make the most of all the tools and resources to make Real Unión increasingly more competitive.”
