Borussia Dortmund have travelled to London this week, albeit depleted, to face Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League.
The match is of course a big deal for the German sport media, and gets some coverage in this week’s edition of SportBild.
When it came to the magazine choosing a Tottenham player to speak to ahead of the Wembley showdown, there could only be one man.
Step forward Hueng-Min Son.
With Bundesliga experience, playing for both Hamburg and Bayer Leverkusen, the Spurs player also has a great record of scoring against Dortmund, something he’ll be hoping to keep up this week and in the return leg.
He was asked various questions, none of them providing especially blockbuster answers.
On Wembley potentially being a negative, Son doesn’t agree: “No. Wembley Stadium has now become our home stadium, and we’ve done great games there as well. That’s no problem for us.”
Asked who he’d choose between Paco Alcacer or Harry Kane, not the hardest of questions for anyone, never mind the England striker’s teammate, Son said: “Clearly Harry! He’s just such a strong, complete striker. That’s what every manager wants.”
