Daishawn Redan left Ajax and moved to Chelsea’s academy in 2017. He could soon be leaving, with claims from Germany that Everton, West Ham and Leicester City are keen.
The Blues official website describes the 18-year-old as a versatile forward, who can play on the left wing or as a No 10, he’s also been deployed as a first choice striker this season by U23 manager Joe Edwards.
Sport Bild claims Redan sees ‘no chance’ of making his way into the Blues’ first team.
It reported that Borussia Mönchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl has Redan in his mind to strengthen his side’s attack for next season.
The report further explains West Ham, Everton and Leicester City from the Premier League, along with the Serie A clubs AC Milan and AS Roma are also interested in the Chelsea youngster.
Should Gladbach qualify for next season’s Champions League, Sport Bild claims it would increase the Bundesliga outfit’s chances of signing Redan, who they believe should be available for around €10m.
He’s scored 11 goals and registered two assists in 28 matches played across various competitions for the west London club’s U23 and U18 side.
