Moise Kean was unable to have a place at Everton this term despite impressing while on loan at Paris Saint-Germain last season.
The Toffees allowed the striker to join Juventus on a two-year loan deal with an obligation to buy if certain set conditions are met during the 2022/23 campaign.
He’s struggled to shine under Massimiliano Allegri, and it has resulted in the Old Lady trying to cut short the Everton owned player’s stay at the Turin club.
According to Calciomercato, Juve had a summit on Monday with Rafaela Pimenta, who will now be leading the negotiations, following the death of Mino Raiola.
Juve’s ‘will’ is to cut ties with Kean, but Everton’s ‘total decision’ is ‘not to review’ the deal they had agreed last summer.
The only option open to the Serie A side is exercising the buying clause in the summer and then selling the Italy international in the same window. They can buy the 22-year-old by paying around €31m to Everton.
For Juve to immediately buy and sell Kean, they will need a ‘third club’. The report states the ‘roads have been leading back’ to Paris, where PSG are in the picture. The possibility of an exchange deal involving Leandro Paredes cannot be ruled out.
Meanwhile, Alfredo Pedullà explains Kean is ‘more likely to leave’ Juventus in the summer since ‘there is a request’ from PSG. The Italian club are ‘studying an exchange’ involving the Everton man and Paredes.
It’s been made clear that Juve don’t want to retain Kean beyond this season, while Everton are standing firm on the deal they agreed last summer. The only ‘viable’ way out for the Old Lady is to buy the frontman and then sell him in the same window.
