Diario Vasco, Real Sociedad specialists, are reporting that Everton have sanctioned the transfer of Sandro Ramirez.
The story has been building in the Spanish media over the past few days, after previous links with Celta Vigo slipped away.
On Tuesday, Diario Vasco said La Real needed to wait for Everton to make their mind up whether to sell Ademola Lookman and keep Sandro as cover, or to let the Spaniard go.
On Wednesday, it’s reported Everton have agreed a Sandro exit and he’s expected to fly to Spain on Thursday and complete the move to Real Sociedad.
The former Barcelona and Malaga player will be leaving on a straight loan, without a purchase option for his new club.
Real Sociedad are said to have been working on the potential signing ‘for some time’, with the player’s agents getting involved when it became clear Sevilla wouldn’t make an attempt to get Sandro back after a loan spell last season.
There’s no information from Diario Vasco on the financials of the move.
