Het Nieuwsblad say Everton’s Yannick Bolasie is ‘on his way to Brussels’ to complete a deadline day move to Anderlecht.
The 29 year old spent the first half of the season on loan at Aston Villa in the Championship. He was supposed to be at Aston Villa for the whole campaign, but the loan move was cut short earlier in January.
Since then there’s been various rumours about where he could end up this week.
Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad say Anderlecht have managed to work on a deal for the player, settling for a flexible attacker, after they were originally looking to sign an out and out striker.
The Belgian club often do late business, and this would be another example of that.
It’s explained Anderlecht’s coaches and transfer officials are now so calm about the situation, that they’ve been able to go out for lunch, confident they’ve got the deal they wanted done.
They’re now enjoying themselves at La Bella Vita.
