When Yacine Brahimi started working with an English agent back in March, we were pretty sure the goal would be to get what he always wanted: a move to the Premier League.

The player’s intentions have been made public by the Portuguese newspapers for a few years now, but Porto haven’t found a club to match their asking price.

Everton have been the most linked to Brahimi in recent windows, and last summer there were repeated claims Ronald Koeman’s club had made offers for the player.

A Bola believe Brahimi could finally be leaving the club in the next transfer window, but, again, Porto need to get the offer they want.

CapturarBrahimi is now a client of Stellar Group, which has many players in England, including Toffees’ defender Phil Jagielka. His agent, Jonathan Barnett, has been making Porto aware of the interest from English sides.

Porto own 50% of Brahimi’s rights, and their idea is to get €20m with the sale. So unless one of the parties accept less (with one of them being Doyen Sports, so that’s very unlikely), the winger should leave for around €40m.

The price goes up and down repeatedly, and whilst usually that could be dismissed as the media getting it wrong, with Brahimi it seems different. The Everton target’s standing at Porto changes frequently, and it’ll be hard for clubs to assess the player’s genuine price.
