Everton could loan out star amidst value drop – Interested club see player as like-for-like replacement

With every passing week, it becomes clearer that Everton boss Sean Dyche isn’t a big fan of Beto.

The Portuguese forward scored against Fulham some weeks ago but he wasn’t handed regular game time even after that. He is yet to start even once in the Premier League this season.

An exit from Goodison Park may make sense for the ex-Udinese man, who has been linked with AS Roma and Juventus.

TuttoSport today report, as relayed by TorinoGranata, that there is now interest from Torino as well, as Il Toro hunt for a temporary replacement for the injured Duvan Zapata.

Beto is seen as a perfect option to replace the Colombian and while there is uncertainty about how much Torino could spend in January, they would ideally want the 26-year-old on a loan deal.

The feeling is that Everton are looking at loaning Beto out, as they want him to seek more game time. They also don’t want to lower his valuation further.

The Toffees don’t want to incur further losses and would want the striker to play regularly at another club, making a loan exit a possibility.
