Everton’s transfer window may be about to blast off into the stratosphere.
On Friday claims came from both England and Brazil that Watford’s Richarlison is set for a move to Goodison Park, for a fee in the region of £50m.
Before that, Jair Mina, Yerry’s uncle and agent, spoke to the media and confirmed he’s been in talks with Everton’s sporting director Marcel Brands.
Saturday pushes another transfer further forward.
Mundo Deportivo are the more reliable of the Catalan newspaper pair and they were the ones who confirmed Everton’s interest in Mina via sources at Barca.
Now they state the Toffees are in negotiations to sign Lucas Digne.
The French fullback has been linked to Everton over the past couple of weeks, but Mundo push it forward and say the clubs involved are in ‘constant contact’.
Marco Silva’s side are said to be the ‘most interested’ and Barcelona are trying to get the most money they can for a player who cost them €16.5m plus a further €4m in bonuses.
So far Everton have been reluctant to pay an amount similar to that.
