Once again, Leeds United are being linked with a centre-back.

This time, it’s an Argentine who goes by the name of Facundo Medina and currently plays for RC Lens in France, where he quickly made a name for himself following his 2020 move from CA Talkers.

Manchester United were reportedly interested at one point, although that seemed too much too soon, and now it’s Leeds United’s turn to be thrown in the mix.

The news comes from Homme Du Match in France, who report that, according to their information, other than Marseille and Spartak Moscow, it’s ‘especially the English club of Leeds United who are very interested’ in the defender.

In fact, Medina has played so well in the past that he already has three Argentina caps, and his style ‘fits perfectly with what Marcelo Bielsa is looking for’, as he can play either in a back four or a back three.

Not only that, but he can also help out as a left-back in an emergency, making his versatility extremely useful for any club.

There’s no mention of how much the Ligue 1 side would be looking for, but considering his importance to Franck Haise’s side, they won’t particularly want to see him leave midway through the campaign.
