Suso isn’t having a great moment. The AC Milan player has seen his form dip and rise, and Calciomercato believe it could be a concern.
After the Italian media spent time hyping Suso up beyond his actual level, they’re now dragging him down and Calciomercato say he struggles to perform when the going gets tough.
But the Spaniard is a talented player so it’s stated AC Milan are well protected after approaches from Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid.
With a release clause of €40-50m hanging around Suso’s neck, he’ll likely only go when Milan are happy for him to do so.
But do Tottenham really want a player who is being questioned in such a way?
There’s been many claims in Italy that Spurs are keen, but that could have been part of building the player up.
Having failed to really break through at Liverpool, that there’s doubts being voiced about Suso now would suggest any Tottenham interest is likely fading.
AC Milan may have their €40-50m barrier, but they probably won’t need it.
There's some Brazilian concern over Lucas at Tottenham, because of how other players from the country have done there.https://t.co/5oujMztuso #thfc #coys pic.twitter.com/E4OtxfbXa2
