Even though Juventus don’t seem to have made any moves to sign Matteo Darmian from Manchester United yet, the Old Lady don’t look like they will lose the player out of sight before the transfer window.

The right-back gets another mention in the Turin newspapers, this time in a story which Tuttosport has about another Red Devil, Anthony Martial.

The outlet claims that Darmian could arrive in a double deal with Manchester United, even though the Italian international would be obviously much easier to get than the Frenchman.

This time, Tuttosport doesn’t mention any amount which Juve would be spending to bring the fullback. All they claim is how helpful he would be for Juve’s squad, especially playing on both sides of the pitch.

This saga sounds like the Old Lady are waiting for the summer market to open so they can make a real move for Darmian. With only five Premier League appearances this season, the player is clearly out of José Mourinho’s plans, which makes the situation a little easier.

Now we wait and see if Juve are trying a deal for Damian only or if they will attempt to get him included in a negotiation for Martial.
