After L’Equipe said on Friday that Georges-Kevin Nkoudou to Tottenham had been agreed in principle on Friday, RMC are now saying it’s all signed and the deal will be made official.
The French radio station revealed on Monday evening that Tottenham have signed all the paperwork needed to get the transfer over the line, with Clinton N’Jié going the other way on loan with a view to buy to Marseille.
As for the details, the Premier League club need to sort out the finer ones, but the transfer fee will be €11.5m paid to Marseille.
Clinton N’Jié, down his end, will be available for Marseille to buy for €7m during the loan, having given his approval for the move.
RMC even go as far as saying the deals could both be made official in the coming hours, which we take as Tuesday latest.
It’s taken a while, but everything is going in the right direction for one of the strangest and longest sagas of the summer.
