Orebro SK sporting director Magnus Skoldmark has suggested Divine Naah is returning to Manchester City because the Swedish club can’t guarantee the youngster games. The 21 year old has been recalled by Manchester City, after a brief loan spell with the OSK.
Speaking to Fotboll Direkt, Skoldmark was asked why Naah would be returning to Manchester City with immediate affect: “I was a little tired with this feeling of his development when he didn’t get into the starting lineup after three to four matches this spring. Manchester City wanted to see him in our starting lineup, it improves his value of a sale when he returns.”
Naah joined Manchester City in 2014, but during his time with the club he’s been sent out four times on loan with various clubs. The purpose of his loan move to OSK was to get first team football, but since he joined the Swedish club in March he’s made just three starts out of a possible sixteen games.
It’s likely Naah will again be sent on loan by Manchester City for next season, with no likely prospect of breaking into their first team.
