Sport Express have claimed Chelsea and Spartak Moscow have reached an agreement over a season long loan for Croatian midfielder Mario Pasalic.
The Russian sports outlet claim Pasalic is expected to fly to Moscow in the first days of August when he’ll join up with his new teammates. Sport Express have close relations with Spartak Moscow, therefore the information is likely to be accurate on the Russian end of a deal.
The 22-year-old has yet to play a game for Chelsea despite joining the club in 2014. Since then, he’s spent loan spells with Elche, Monaco and AC Milan.
Despite rumours about Pasalic’s permanent move to AC Milan back in April it seems at the moment he’s set for his fourth loan spell away from Stamford Bridge.
A few hours after their initial claims, Sport Express added the Chelsea player is also on the radar of Spanish side Betis, after their vice-president Lorenzo Serra Ferrer confirmed their interest in a press conference.
It’s been claimed the Chelsea midfielder would prefer a move to Spain.
