West Ham United have are one of the reported suitors keen on signing Gabigol in the winter market.
On January 8th, Corriere dello Sport explained the forward has significantly lowered his wage demands, which would make it easier for Flamengo to acquire his services.
Gazzetta dello Sport also had a report on the Inter Milan owned player on Thursday and they stated the Hammers have come forward with an offer of a loan move with redemption for the 23-year-old.
It wasn’t explained in detail.
FcInterNews provides an update on that as they state David Moyes’ side put on table an offer of an 18 month loan with the obligation to make the transfer permanent for close to €20m.
West Ham’s terms didn’t convince the Serie A side, which is why they have rejected the proposal. Therefore, the track leading Gabigol to Flamengo remains the ‘hottest’.
Inter are clear that they want immediate cash so that they can use the funds to bring in reinforcements requested by Antonio Conte.
