The Leander Dendoncker period of the window started around a week ago.
For the past few markets, the Anderlecht midfielder-turned-defender has been strongly linked with a move to England at the end of the market.
There’s been offers, deals have looked like they were going to happen, and then the plug has been pulled, usually by Anderlecht.
It happened again in January, with moves to both West Ham and Crystal Palace failing, and at the time it was reported Dendoncker was very unhappy indeed. The Belgian media reported that to calm their player Anderlecht told him he could leave this summer for around €15m.
Now HLN report Dendoncker is ‘on his way to England’ for talks about a transfer to Wolves.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have been linked a couple of times this summer, but now things seem to be moving.
Negotiations with Wolves are said to be going in the right direction.
DH take it a step further and say, as long as there’s not a last minute change, Dendoncker ‘will sign’ for the Premier League club.
He left Anderlecht after training today, and the fee is estimated at €12-15m.
