Part of the Pozzo conglomerate since moving from SM Caen to Granada in 2014, Molla Wagué has played for three of the Italian family’s clubs over the past four years.

Moving to Udinese permanently in 2017 after a three year loan spell there and a six month break with Leicester, the Mali international also spent all of last season with Watford before returning to Italy.

Making seven appearances for the Hornets during that time, the 27-year-old never managed to breakthrough at Vicarage Road, and swiftly returned to the club that owns him.

Preparing the whole preseason with Udinese, the centre-back through he might end up playing quite regularly in Serie A, but that wasn’t to be, and he’s played just three games since the start of the campaign.

Speaking to Foot Mercato in France, Wagué explained he’s ready to leave Udine for good, and he’s open to a return to the Premier League.

He said: “If I have a third chance of trying my luck in England, I’m not going to hesitate, but if I do, I don’t want it to be on loan. I would like to try my luck in a more long-term project.

“On loan, you have to prove yourself over just a few months, and it’s not always easy to convince. With regards to Italy, I’m more thinking about playing in another country.”

As of yet, the defender admitted he doesn’t have that many options at his disposal, at least none that have interested him so far.

So if you’re a Premier League club in need of some defensive cover, you now know where to go.
