According to a claim in the Italian media, Crystal Palace are lining up an offer for AS Roma midfielder Maxime Gonalons.
The Frenchman could be offloaded by the Serie A side this summer and the Premier League side look to be an option.
Sky Italia have reported, via TMW, that Crystal Palace are looking to offer Roma €10m for Gonalons as the London club continue to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.
The 29 year old only joined the Italian side from Lyon last summer, but failed to make an impact in his debut season in Serie A.
Gonalons played just 16 league games and with claims Roma are interested in other midfielder targets, he could become surplus to requirements at the club.
Despite Gonalons not performing last season, Roma would make a profit if they sell the player to Crystal Palace for €10m, 12 months ago they paid Lyon just €5m.
The midfielder still has three years left on his contract with Roma.
