Emiliano Sala has been the subject of several transfer rumours in the English media recently.
The 28 year old Argentine is enjoying a good season with Nantes, and that naturally brings interest from elsewhere.
But, despite the English claims, there hasn’t really been much in the French media about a possible Premier League move for the Argentine.
That changes on Saturday, as L’Equipe has a big article on his future.
It’s explained he almost left in the summer window, and now things are looking ‘intense’ ahead of the January market.
Three English clubs ‘have all asked’, either directly or indirectly, about the player’s situation and a potential transfer. Those are named as Crystal Palace, Fulham and West Ham.
For Crystal Palace, it’s stated their interest has been ‘continuous’ and dates back to last season. There’s also interest from China.
Sala earns less than €50k a month, according to the report, and a work permit wouldn’t be a problem because he holds an Italian passport.
He’s scored 13 goals so far this season, in 14 matches.
