Aksam claim Premier League sides Bournemouth and Crystal Palace are interested in signing Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera.
The 106 capped Uruguay international is currently earning over €4m a season with Gala and the Turkish club’s board will consider his future at the end of the season due to their financial difficulties.
According to Aksam, despite being one of the club’s most important players, Galatasaray could look to sell Muslera in order to free up their wage budget, with both Bournemouth and Crystal Palace monitoring the situation.
Due to Asmir Begovic’s poor run of form in recent months, Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is reportedly in the market for a goalkeeper for next season and Aksam say Muslera is an option.
The Turkish newspaper reports both clubs were also interested in Stoke City’s Jack Butland but they’ve started looking at other alternatives because of the €30m price tag for the England goalkeeper.
It’s claimed Bournemouth and Crystal Palace are now waiting for Galatasaray’s decision regarding Muslera, but the Istanbul club’s board will only hold talks about the player’s future at the end of the season due to their title race commitments.
Muslera is in his 8th season in Turkey with Galatasaray and is under contract with the Super Lig club until June 2021.
