On Wednesday, we clarified a few things that were being banded around regarding an article in Corriere dello Sport and Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey.
The article made it look like Ivan Gazidis was ready to present Milan, his new club, with the Welshman as a present, but there was nothing concrete in it as it was filled with a bunch of “could”s.
Fast forward 24 hours, and the newspaper are at it again, but, this time, they have something of interest in their new take.
According to them, Milan have indeed made contact with Aaron Ramsey’s entourage to see if he’d be interested in joining them once he leaves Arsenal at the end of the season on a free.
Nothing official has been made nor have any details been discussed, but it’s a first step in the right direction, and, if true, shows that Milan are indeed interested in the Wales international.
Having recently tied up a deal for Lucas Paqueta, who is now expected to join them in January, the acquisition of another midfielder like Aaron Ramsey could allow them to field youth and experience, a mix that has proven successful for many clubs over the years.
