According to Turkish TV Channel A Spor Fenerbahce are hoping to use the influence of their former striker Moussa Sow in order to sign Bristol City’s Famara Diedhiou.

Reports in the English press last week linked the Senegalese attacker to the Super Lig side, and A Spor report his compatriot could play a pivotal role in Fenerbahce’s pursuit of the player.

It’s reported Diedhiou will consider leaving this summer if Bristol City don’t get promotion to the Premier League, and Fener could be his next destination if that happens.

The Yellow Canaries could be in the market for a forward, especially if Vedat Muriqi, who has been the subject of many transfer rumours, leaves the club. The Kosovo international has been linked with moves Tottenham Hotspur and Lazio, among others.

This season Diedhiou has made 35 appearances in all competitions for Lee Johnson’s side, scoring 12 goals.

His contract with Bristol City will expire at the end of June 2021.
