Stade Reims assistant manager Will Still has revealed he would love to coach at West Ham in the future, having followed them since he was a boy.
The Hammers host Belgium opposition this evening when they face Anderlecht in the Europa Conference League and the London Stadium in matchday four of Group B.
They face them looking to repeat their win from last week, with a 1-0 in Belgium securing all three points and leaving the Hammers top of the group.
As it’s European football, the game is likely to be closely followed by West Ham and Anderlecht fans alike, with both groups keep to see their sides progress far in the tournament this year.
One of those who will be watching their ‘beloved’ West Ham this evening at the three Still brothers, Will, Edward and Nicolas.
They’ve been Hammers’ fans since they were young and the former sat down for a chat with DH ahead of the game, revealing his dreams for the future in the process.
“The rest of the time, it was the old way, that is to say on the radio and in front of the program “Match of the day”. Growing up we became a little more fervent and, today, even if it is very complicated with the lives we lead, we still try to go there a few times a season.
“Growing up, it was Joe Cole and Paolo Di Canio. We grew up with them, we imitated them in the garden. In recent years, it has been Mark Noble.
“A faithful, loyal player who gave absolutely everything on the pitch. So there was never really a discussion about it.
“In any case, [working at West Ham was the ultimate dream] we nurtured when we were children. But more generally in the Premier League. It is the championship that we followed thoroughly, which no longer leaves us. We would have in a way the feeling of coming home, back to our roots.”
