Pawel Cibicki has only just returned to Leeds United, having spent the first half of the Championship season on loan at Molde in Norway.
With the Norwegian season finishing until the next campaign starts in March, Cibicki’s loan ended and he was sent back to Elland Road. But it doesn’t appear Marcelo Bielsa has any room for the 24 year old, because Aftonbladet report he’s on the verge of moving to Elfsborg.
The attacker is now ‘very close’ to the switch, and Aftonbladet’s headline says ‘Clubs agree’, and they state this is from their own information.
Final details must still be agreed between the Swedish club and Leeds, with it being explained the move would primarily be on a loan basis.
Should Leeds see no long term future for Cibicki then it’s likely they’re going to want Elfsborg to make some kind of commitment about a permanent move.
At this stage the Swedish newspaper doesn’t given any information about the finances of a transfer.
