The Polish transfer window remains open.

Indeed, clubs in the country have all the time until 11pm on February 28th to get signings in, which enables them to see what’s left over now most of the bigger leagues have taken their pick.

Wisła Płock have set their sights on a Huddersfield Town youngster.

The Polish top division side are keen on Abdelhamid Sabiri, reports Tuesday’s edition of Przeglad Sportowy.

It’s not just just interest, the Polish newspaper says the club are working on ‘finalising’ the player’s arrival, which would be on loan for the rest the current season.

The 22 year old has picked up 50 Premier League minutes so far this season, against Manchester City and Bournemouth. He also played a half in the EFL Cup match against Stoke City in August.

Having moved from FC Nürnberg in 2017, he has a contract with Huddersfield until June 2020. The attacking midfielder would surely expect to find more minutes if the transfer is completed.

He’d first have to return from his collarbone fracture, something he’s expected to do in the next few days.
