Bologna ‘want to negotiate a discount’ with Leicester City for Victor Kristiansen this summer after his loan deal comes to an end.
That’s according to Il Resto del Carlino, who say the Italian side are more than happy to keep the Leicester man if the price is right.
The left-back has been on loan with Bologna since the summer, having joined on from Leicester after their relegation to the Championship last season.
He’s been a regular for the Serie A side, featuring in 71% of the available minutes in the league to date and managing four assists in 29 games.
They have an option to buy him from Leicester on a permanent basis but the Rossoblu ‘want to negotiate a discount’ on the previously agreed figure of €15m.
That’s irrespective of whether they qualify for the Champions League or not, with the feeling at the club seemingly that they don’t want to spend that figure despite needing to solve the left-back position.
It seems the plan is to speak to Leicester to try and work out a better deal overall for themselves.
