Greek website Sportdog report Olympiacos are still interested in signing Nottingham Forest attacking midfielder Joao Carvalho ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline.
Carvalho has been linked with a move to Olympiacos throughout this transfer window.
The Greek giants are likely to part ways with Daniel Podence, with the player reportedly close to joining Wolves in a €30m deal.
Olympiacos have identified Joao Carvalho as a possible replacement following claims the Portuguese attacker could leave the Championship side before the transfer window closes.
Another Greek source, Gazetta, says the Nottingham Forest man is a target for the SuperLeague club, but they also report Guimares’ Davidson is a target after being linked with a move to Olympiacos last summer.
Carvalho has struggled to get minutes under Sabri Lamouchi this season, featuring 22 times for the English club in all competitions, scoring two goals.
His contract at the City Ground will expire at the end of June 2023.
