Just yesterday, we covered a piece from Portuguese newspaper Record in which they talked about the season of Leo Bonatini at Vitória Guimarães.

They’ve shown how it’s been over three months since the Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee has last scored a goal, and that has been making his stay in Portugal unlikely.

Now it’s time for O Jogo to bring a similar story today, this time saying Vitória Guimarães are indeed sending him back to Wolves at the end of the season.

They say the Portuguese side have the chance to make the transfer permanent for €3.5m, but they’re not keen on spending that much on him.

O Jogo writes that there was a lot of expectation around the striker, since he had a good season in Portugal when playing for Estoril a few years ago.

But now he can’t even get starts at Vitória, and that’s why he should soon be back at Molineux, where he has a contract running until 2022.
