Takvim report Fenerbahce sporting director Damien Comolli has identified Liverpool’s Simon Mignolet as a target and is ‘pushing’ for the goalkeeper.
The Turkish giants are in the market for a goalkeeper this summer and they’ve already been linked with a move for Arsenal’s David Ospina.
Last season the Belgian was dropped by Jurgen Klopp in favour of German Loris Karius and the player has previously stated he could leave Liverpool to find regular first-team football.
According to Takvim, Comolli still has very good contacts with Liverpool and he’s looking to raid his former club by targeting Mignolet. The Frenchamn had a spell as the Merseyclub’s sporting director a few seasons ago.
It’s also claimed Mignolet may be interested in playing for Fenerbahce and the Belgium international is currently considering his options.
Mignolet played 22 games for Liverpool in all competitions last season and is under contract with the Reds until 2021.
