Juventus are ‘one step away’ from completing a move for Everton striker Moise Kean, who has jumped to the top of their list of priorities.
That’s according to Gazzetta Dello Sport, who say finding a striker has become a key issue for Juventus as they are set to lose Cristiano Ronaldo.
Kean is the number one target at the club because they believe he can be an ‘important piece’ in Max Allegri’s ‘chessboard’ because he can play all across the front three.
Furthermore, he doesn’t take up a place in the Champions League squad as he is homegrown, and so talks are now underway with Everton to finalise his return to Italy.
Calciomercato back all this up and say the deal to bring Kean back to Juventus is ‘getting closer’ to being finalised.
Juventus held a ‘long internal meeting’ last night to discuss replacing Ronaldo, and they are now moving with haste to finalise deals.
Federico Cherubini is already ‘working with Everton’ on Kean, who is considered the most ‘likely option’ at this moment in time.
Mino Raiola is similarly working with both clubs and holding ‘constant contact’ with both to find the right conditions to close the deal.
Cherubini would like a loan with a right of redemption, and Everton have dropped their initial valuation of €40m to around €25/30m. Those are the parameters of the deal that can be concluded ‘in the next few hours’.
