It seems Watford owned defender Jorge Segura will be forced to change clubs again very soon.

Since January, the 22-year-old defender has been on a loan spell at Mexican side Atlas, where his contract runs until the last day of the year.

And although there’s a buying option to keep him there, this clause will not be triggered, according to local reports today.

Website Futbol Total says there are many players who Atlas are letting go at the end of the year, and one of them is Segura, who the club have no intention of keeping for next season.

Jorge Segura now continues his saga in search of stability at a club. Signed by Watford back in 2017, he could never make his debut for the Hornets.

Since then, he’s had loan spells at Valladolid, Independiente de Medellin and finally Atlas. And it seems that as long as he doesn’t have a work permit for the Premier League, he’ll keep having these spells.
