Manchester City should act quickly to avoid competition for the signing of the Real Madrid midfielder Isco.
Now RAC1 have claimed that the club made an offer for the player to receive a €20m signing on fee if he waits and joins as a free agent.
That’s why Mundo Deportivo have an article about Isco’s options, which are three at the moment. He either renews with Real Madrid, leaves in the summer or waits and joins Barcelona.
The two destinations for him in the next summer market would be Manchester City and Juventus, according to the claims. But Mundo Deportivo says the player has been Barcelona fan since he was a kid, giving them an advantage.
However, what gives Manchester City the advantage is that Madrid would do anything to avoid Isco joining Barca on a free.
That means no renewal and a reasonable Manchester City offer in the summer would likely see Florentino Perez saying a big ‘yes’, and possibly ‘thank you’ as well.
