Sevilla could recall defender Ibrahim Amadou from his loan spell at Norwich with interest in him from elsewhere.

Amadou joined the promoted side on loan in the summer transfer window as they bolstered their squad ahead of their first year back in the Premier League.

After missing the first three games of the season, he was a regular from the end of August until the end of October playing the full 90 minutes in all but one of their seven league games in that period.

He has found himself out of the team since then, though, making just one 25 minute appearance in the league since December 8th.

His time at the club could now be brought to a premature end, with Estadio Deportivo reporting Sevilla are considering cancelling his deal with Norwich.

According to the website, there are several clubs interested in Amadou, and that has led Sevilla to consider their options.

Getafe were keen before they signed Oghenekaro Etebo from Stoke, while Girona have sent an enquiry ‘in the last hours’.

They are interested in a loan from January until the end of the season, although it’s stated they are not the only clubs ‘following his steps’.

Norwich’s stance about ending the loan is not shared, although it is hard to imagine they would be reluctant to lose a player who is not in Daniel Farke’s plans.
