According to Turkish newspaper Fanatik, Trabzonspor have enquired about Leicester City player Daniel Amartey as they look to strengthen their squad in the January transfer window.
The Turkish club are looking to win the Super Lig title for the first time since 1984 and are eager to bring in some reinforcements, with the Leicester City man said to be an option.
It’s reported Trabzonspor want to know how much it would cost to loan player until the end of the season.
The Super Lig club’s manager Unal Karaman is said to be a big fan of the defensive midfielder. Amartey’s ability to play in different positions is a key factor for the coach and he’s informed the board he wants to see the Ghanaian in his team.
The 24 year old joined Leicester City from FC Copenhagen for €6m in 2016 and he’s made 65 appearances for the Premier League club since his move.
However, he’s has yet to make an appearance for Brendan Rodgers’ side this season.
