NtvSpor report Besiktas will sign either Bursaspor’s Harun Tekin or Arsenal’s David Ospina after Fabri leaves the Turkish club for Fulham.
Besiktas yesterday announced to the Turkish stock exchange (KAP) they’ve agreed to sell Fabri to Fulham, and now they’ll focus their efforts bringing in a replacement. The Spanish goalkeeper is now expected to have a medical with Fulham ahead of his move to Craven Cottage.
According to NtvSpor, Besiktas have made Ospina their priority to replace the departing Fabri, even though they’ve been linked with Tekin as well.
Arsenal have already signed Bernd Leno and with Petr Cech still at the club there’s a good chance Ospina will leave the Premier League club in this transfer window.
It’s claimed Besiktas are looking to sign Ospina permanently, but they are also in talks with Bursaspor for Harun Tekin, as the Turkish keeper is their back up plan.
Ospina made 21 appearances for Arsenal last season in all competitions and the player has two years left on his contract.
