Bursa based newspaper Olay claims Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo is a target for Bursaspor, along with Malmö’s Lasse Nielsen.
The Turkish side recently sold Titi to Goztepe and now they need to bring in a replacement before the window closes.
Olay say Bursaspor manager Samet Aybaba has Chelsea’s Omeruo as his first choice and the Turkish club are looking to open talks in the near future.
It’ been previously reported Chelsea are only looking to sell Omeruo rather than loan him out again, but Olay said the English club could change their stance as the transfer deadline gets nearer.
Last week we covered reports from Turkey that Omeruo is a target for three Turkish Super Lig clubs; Goztepe, Kasimpasa and Alanyaspor, and it seems Bursaspor are now also in the mix to sign the Nigerian defender.
An exit from Chelsea this summer is pretty much nailed on, it just needs to be decided whether that’s a loan or a permanent transfer, and where Omerou will be going to.
