According to Turkish newspaper Aksam, Galatasaray are interested in signing Stoke City midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo ahead of the summer transfer window.

Following reports the Championship side are not interested in loaning Badou Ndiaye back to Galatasaray the Turkish club are now looking at alternatives and the latest name linked with a move to the Cim Bom is his Stoke City teammate Etebo.

Aksam say Ndiaye’s agent Wiliam D’Avila, who has been very active in the Turkish transfer market recently, has told Galatasaray’s manager Fatih Terim he can help the Istanbul club land Etebo on a loan deal.

Terim is reportedly considering D’Avila’s proposal and Galatasaray scouts will now watch the Nigeria international until the end of the season. Etebo is also said to be interested in joining Galatasaray.

Etebo joined Stoke for €7.2m last summer and has played 33 games for the Potters this season. He is under contract with Stoke City until June 2023.
