Fotomac claim Atletico Madrid have joined the race to sign reported Tottenham Hotspur target Eljif Elmas from Fenerbahce.
In recent weeks we’ve covered reports from Turkey that Tottenham are interested in signing the 19-year old midfielder as the Premier League club looks set to back Mauricio Pochettino in the next transfer window.
According to Fotomac, Atletico Madrid want the Macedonian midfielder this summer, along with Tottenham, Fiorentina and Zenit.
It’s reported Fiorentina have already made a move for Elmas, with claims the Serie A side have offered €10m.
Elmas has been in good form for Fenerbahce this season despite the club’s woes, and he recently scored a vital goal in the derby clash against Galatasaray.
He is under contract at Fenerbahce until June 2022.
