West Ham signed Niclas Füllkrug from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window.

After a slow start and after having recovered from an Achilles injury, the German striker has become an important part of the side, who now have Graham Potter as manager after the sacking of Julen Lopetegui.

There have been doubts about his future at the club amidst interest from Juventus, and it now seems as if the Bianconeri are not the only side interested in him.

La Repubblica have reported today that Serie A rivals AS Roma are also looking at the 31-year-old’s situation and they want him as a striker who can rotate with summer signing Artem Dovbyk.

The Giallorossi want a loan deal for Füllkrug but West Ham are quite clear that they do not want to let the player depart temporarily. There is no clear indication about whether a permanent deal will suit them or not.

The Germany international scored for West Ham in their last Premier League outing and has featured often in their last five games. Due to that, it would make complete sense to keep him this month.
