Think of the name Luis Suárez and you will naturally picture the man who stars upfront for Barcelona and is a household name.
However, there’s been another Suárez tearing up Spanish football this season, and this one plays for Real Zaragoza, on loan from Watford.
With 13 goals and three assists to his name so far, the Hornets man has earned himself plenty of admirers inside and outside of Spain.
We’ve covered most of these, with barely a day going by without a new suitor joining the queue for the 22-year-old.
The latest to do so are Valencia, according to El Periódico de Aragón, who say they have identified the Watford man should Kevin Gameiro or Rodrigo depart this summer.
As has been mentioned on several occasions, though, they will not find the Hornets easy to deal with.
They intend to bring Suárez back to the club next season after his impressive performances and have made this clear to the player and his agents.
They also want to get him signed up to a new and improved deal and had planned to start those negotiations, but the Coronavirus outbreak put a halt to that.
Nonetheless, the intention is there, although it is made clear that should they be relegated, his departure will become more ‘feasible’.
That is yet to happen, though, and with Watford currently outside of the relegation may not happen in future if the Premier League does end up finishing as it is.
Until that is certain, there will likely not be any movement on Suárez’s future, with Valencia left to sit and wait in the queue with his other suitors.
