For the past two days, we’ve covered several reports discussing Lazio interest in taking Manchester United’s Andreas Pereira.
On September 28th, Lazio sporting director Igli Tarec laimed the 24-year-old will arrive at the club in “two or three days”.
Later that day, Sky Italia explained personal terms were not agreed between the midfielder and the Serie A side, as the Rome based club are offering less than what the player is demanding.
There seems to be progress on this front, if TuttoMercatoWeb are to be believed. According to the Italian website, Simone Inzaghi’s side have ‘reached an agreement’ with both Pereira and the Red Devils.
Lazio have agreed to pay the player a net salary of €2.3m per season. The report also adds the Italian side and United have found an agreement for a loan deal with a ‘right of redemption for just over €10m’.
That’s much less than the €27m which was claimed by a Brazilian source close to the player, but matches the initial amount stated in the report which broke the story.
TMW adds the transfer, at the moment, is on standby because Lazio will have to offload players first before making new additions.
