For the past couple of days, we’ve seen a few reports claiming Andreas Pereira’s move from Manchester United to Lazio is nearly done.

However, according to an update from Sky Italia today, there are still some details to be sorted out before the move can be confirmed by the Serie A side.

The outlet says Lazio have been working on a loan with an option to buy for €15m. The main problem has been the player’s salary. It’s claimed there’s been ‘no solution’ so far as the Italian club are offering less than what Andreas Pereira demands.

Sky Italia also points out that before signing Pereira, the Serie A side must complete the departure of Felipe Caicedo so he can make room for the Brazilian.

Lazio Director of Football Igli Tare confirmed today that Pereira’s arrival is close and should be happening in two or three days. Sky Italia even highlights these quotes, but makes it clear that the agreement with the player is pending.

The midfielder is still to feature for Manchester United this season.
