So far this season, Georges-Kévin Nkoudou has accumulated a grand total of 26 minutes for Tottenham Hotspur, coming in a League Cup substitute appearance against West Ham.
The footballer is really struggling and desperately needs a move to get his career back on track. A previous loan to Burnley didn’t go so well, and it’s crucial that this time the right choice is made, although there doesn’t appear to be a great deal of interest.
At the end of November, the player’s agent Meïssa Ndiaye spoke to the French media and talked up interest to perhaps a greater level than it was actually at.
Ndiaye said there’d been summer interest from “Many German, French, Spanish clubs.”
He added: “The president and the owner of Tottenham are not the easiest to seduce in the transfer window. The fact that he did not leave is only the responsibility of the club. Things could not succeed for economic reasons, but it was not a drama either.
“The idea is to leave in January. Both sides want to move forward and turn the page.”
Those many German, French and Spanish clubs don’t seem to have come forward this time around, and Sunday’s edition of L’Equipe says Besiktas have formulated an offer ‘in recent hours’ to take the Spurs player on loan for the rest of the current season.
