Even though it’s been a while since Sevilla’s interest in Manchester United attacker Anthony Martial started being reported, the La Liga side have made little progress in their chase.
Spanish outlet AS today explains what may happen in the final weeks of the ‘frenetic market’ the club are having in January, and the 26-year-old is, of course, mentioned there.
Meanwhile, it’s said Manchester United are lowering their demands ‘little by little’, and following reports from England saying the Red Devils may let him go for the cost of his salary from now to the end of the season, the Spanish club can’t even afford that.
Martial, who already made public his wish of leaving Old Trafford, is said to have Sevilla as ‘his preferred destination’.
That’s a good argument the La Liga side have in their chase, and they’re ‘willing to wait’ and see if a reasonable opportunity will show up between now and the end of the transfer window.
