Two days ago, Marca explained Paul Pogba’s priority is to make a switch to Real Madrid.

On Thursday, we covered claims from AS explaining the Manchester United midfielder is a ‘great wish’ of Zinedine Zidane for the upcoming transfer window.

AS on Friday has another report on the France international.

It’s claimed the likes of Martin Ødegaard and Dani Ceballos [duo currently out on loan] can help Zidane in midfield, but the French coach is keen on betting on the Red Devils player.

With a contract at Old Trafford until 2021, with a further year option, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side want to renew Pogba’s contract. However, the 27-year-old ‘still wants’ to join the La Liga side.

AS say the economic crisis due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the fact that Pogba hasn’t played a lot this season due to injuries [eight matches in all competitions] could see his price tag drop below €100m.

However, Real Madrid face a ‘problem’ in signing Pogba in the upcoming window.

If they end up spending heavily on Pogba, Los Blancos could ‘compromise’ the operation to bring Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappé to Madrid in 2021.

Multiple reports coming out of Spain in the last couple of days have provided different reasons why Real Madrid are not so keen on Pogba, even though the player and Zidane want to conclude a deal.
